Unboxing: ATM downpipe (with DOC) and midpipe for
Check out my new ATM downpipe with DOC!
Wow, looks nice! I’ll be pairing this with a DUDMD stage 2 tune. I’m very impressed with the ATM just looking at it. I did a bunch of research and they were the choice for me. Made in the USA. The DOC is American made as well. Just over $1k shipped to my house. |

Nice! Wrap the doc with a heat wrap. Also buy a new *OEM* turbo clamp and the passenger side engine mount… you’ll thank me later.
Have you done egr block off, swirl flap delete, or vacuum lines yet?

This guy is SPOT on about the OEM! turbo clamp and the pass side engine mount. I tried to cheap out on the engine mount and now guess who gets to lower the subframe again....this guy.

Shouldn't need to lower the subframe again if you got rid of the DPF. The replacement downpipes slide right out.

Stage 2 Update: The exhaust smells very strongly at idle. I was hoping that the catted version would eliminate a lot of the diesel smell... It's not very effective.

By "at idle" do you mean at startup? They won't work until they're good and hot. There is definitely a difference between catted and non-catted when hot, although it is not a huge difference. I ended up gutting mine.

Not ideal. On the plus side, the exhaust sound is subtle but I really like it. Deeper tone now with a hint of turbo whistle if I roll the windows down. Very modest sounding. Non-car people will have no idea that's it's modified, other than the smell. Pretty much stock sound if the windows are up. |
