Just picked up my X5D. Does this give a noticeable increase? How long did you use it?

Yes, you will notice the increase for sure. I ran it for a little over 2 years, no complaints. It has a dial that you can adjust. I ran mine at 80-85%.

is this easily installed and removed? i'm in CA so i'd like the ability to remove + run "stock" prior to smog when necessary...

Yes, its a quick install. less than 5 mins, a little longer if you route the wires and zip tie them
