Cross reference parts for 2010 328ix wagon

I am looking for some help to find part numbers/years for hood, front bumper and headlights for my 2010 328ix wagon. It's my understanding I can look at any 09-11 328, either sedan or wagon, for these parts and they will all fit. I'm curious to know if I can look to any 3 series also? Thanks in advance for the newbe question.

In my opinion, fine for front end parts for sedan or wagon, but unless you find out otherwise, I would avoid coupe and convertible pieces.

One way to find out is to go to realoem.com and look up the relevant parts for your wagon, write down the part numbers, then check for the other body styles and make sure the part numbers are the same.

Sedan (e90) and wagon (e91) are similar, but double-check using realoem.com. You'll need last seven of a VIN, but you can snag a few VINs off of autotrader.

Note that you have to pay attention to the model year, as well, as some LCI parts won't interchange with non-LCI parts, headlights in particular if I remember correctly. The LCI year I believe was 2011, but I can't keep track of all of the changes.

Have to check m-sport versus not, though this might just be bumpers and wheels on the exterior differences. Again, realoem can help you in this area.

The coupes/verts are not the same up front (or any other body part for that matter) as the sedans. I had one of our e92's (a 2012) parked next to daughter's e90 (2011) a few weeks back. Even the headlights are different.
