I will try to get that put together. I will find what parts I ordered and post the prices and what has happened so far. I did not get everything done that I was hoping. right now I am dealing with random misfires and cylinder 5 misfire. car is running rough. not sure if it is the new bosch plugs or what is going on.

Quick update. Misfire found and fixed car runs smooth. The factory gap in plug 5 was set closer than the rest. Not sure if it was the problem. I widened it to about 026. It was around 023 when it was misfiring. I took the plug out of number 1, and moved it to number 5 just so it would be easier to get to if that didn’t fix it.

Ok here we go....

I will add more details to this through out the day but here is a quick tool and parts list of what I purchased.

I did not get everything done I want. I tried to make notes on each one of these items except a few gaskets. not much to say about them...

I might try t o get the rear breaks, transmission and power steering done this next weekend. here is the break down.

TOOLS

LOCKING SOCKETS TO KEEP FROM LOOSING NUTS IN HARD TO REACH PLACES
https://palmac.net/koken-nut-gripper...er-socket-set/ $73.57 USD
not just for this job but I used it. worked awesome

E10 WITH BUILT ON SWIVEL FOR THE ONE BOLT UNDER THE INTAKE
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $22.14
not sure if I could have done it without this tool unless i fully removed the intake.

SPARK PLUG SOCKET https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $15.12

SPARK PLUG GAP TOOLS
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $9.99

MINI SOCKET SET FOR TIGHT SPACES
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $82.64
Mostly got this for the 3 bolts in the transmission that are hard to get to due to space. Also purchased as my glove box tool kit to keep in the car. otherwise I would have gotten one cheaper.

I was able to install the VTT crank guard ok, but the VTT CBC doesn't fit over my crank bolt. When I asked for help VTT said my crank bolt wasn't stock...not sure that's true but you may run into this. I have a 2012 35i.

Also you can try to get a JB4 used and save a few hundred.

edit: I see you may have done the work already, have any issues with VTT CBC?

No issues fitting the CBC on my 2013. and yeah I have most of the stuff done already now. I considered buying a used JB4 but didn't see any at the time that I could confirm fit my car and were not almost the same price as a new one.

Yeah it's pretty impossible if the fan is in. Thanks for trying.

I took my fan out. that was an easy 5 min job. on mine you have to unplug the electric fan, squeeze to tabs and pull up. once it comes up you fold the part so it misses the hose. I am a big guy though so still all I could do to get my arm in there. My nephew ended up doing most of that because he could get is arm in and out without removing the skin on it.

finally got my replacement crank vent hose today. Somehow I had lost the new on I had pre purchased and the old one broke. I patched it with a heater hose. However now that I got that on I got to install my engine cover. Of course I forgot to grab the Engine Cover Ball Pins from my old valve cover. now I have to order 2 of them... Oh well. at least they are not real expensive.
