I copied the idea from the F80 forum where I once resided. It was a hit!

BBS SVs in that color scheme still look the best to me.... SO CLEAN!
I thought I wanted something different, so I went with ADVs. I do love my ADVs, but two different finishes later and I am still trying to capture the clean balance that I had with the BBS! |

Can't imagine wrapping an entire E70! How long did it take to complete?

The E70 has a quite difficult body shape... and some parts are really large. Like the bonnet. It's soo huge, the wrap wouldn't event stretch enough to cover it in one piece. Had to make small cuts around the grilles. The car is being wrapped in Gloss Dragon Fire Red by 3M by the way. But just before wrapping we resprayed it from Black Sapphire to a custom silver pearl. So when my wife is tired of the red after 2-3 years I just strip it back to a decent silver (I think silver suits the X5 extremely well - even though I hate silver cars). Well... and since we sprayed the car, we also wrapped it having a nearly complete naked body (body trim removed, windows removed, etc), so it was kinda a bit easier to wrap, but a lot of assembly work still to be done... |

I think this doesn't fit in to "Pointless photos" category to be honest, you better create separate thread, I'm sure its gonna be very popular

true dat. I watched the rear quarter in your original pic and started getting nightmares thinking on how I'd be giving up without completing a single panel.

Your pics confirm my doubts that about selling my spacers. My stock setup with spacers looked more aggressive than the SV's without spacers.

easy mod but changes the look completely! I wanted to get away from spacers while ordering my latest wheels but to do that I had to go up to 2 piece wheels (+ $2k). I decided to stay with original offsets + spacers! oh well maybe next set, where the offesets will drop to teens
