Thanks for the heads up - I just bought an X5 M and new pipes are on the cards to make it more reliable. I was looking at these pipes are they seem to be the cheapest of the lot and locally available.

Do you have to re-map if you install Catless Downpipes or will it self tune again and not throw a CEL?

Yes, had a remap done with the catless DP.

the heat shielding for the valley of the engine, how do you secure it? is it just laid in and thats it?

I got a cheap rivet gun and went to town riveting the headt shield matting down to the trays
