What's the point of asking a question that you already have the answer for?

For me, GPS is not better, I've used it a few times but I don't want to become reliant on something that could dissapear at any time. it's just one of a number of other useless items that are found in cars these days, which is what your thread is all about isn't it?
That's so ironic because I wasn't the one getting pissy. I think you're the prb, we were just having a good convo when you got all offended. Just incredible, do you need to read back our posts? Wow.

Btw, didn't know I was 'famous'.. you've "noticed" lol. If you read back at any of those it's gonna be like in this instance, someone getting all testy and me responding. Just horrible behaviour, like you would say that to me irl "If you don't like the answers to your questions, don't ask them!". Really, you'd say that to a perfect stranger just cuz they disagree w you? Lots of projection going on. I always respect my peers unless they give me attitude. Nuff said.

Anyway, going back to the OP, if you are so confident in paper maps, let's bet you will never use GPS ever and me w maps. Good?

Ok, maybe we should do a survey on how many ppl got their gps jammed...never heard of that and it never happened to me. I dunno why you're introducing all that other stuff.

I'm not wasting anymore time on you, you're tiresome.
Lets just make a Gentleman's agreement, I won't post in your threads anymore and I would appreciate it if you would do the same for me.
Thanks

How am I tiresome? I'm trying to explain to you what really went down. So I guess what I said is true, and another irony is that you can't take another person's responses haha.

Anyway, I have no idea why you continue to be hostile and offended, we're just supposed to be shooting the breeze here.

Ok, those are tastefully-done, but I just wonder how much better it would be to have carbon-fibre there instead (ofc for the modern ones, not the oldies). Well, it's still not my cup of tea but everyone's taste is different.

Did someone mention digital displays here? I think they're awesome. Besides being able to change configs w infinite probabilities ofc depending on the maker, I assume it must be more accurate than analog, right? Not sure why there's some hate there other than ppl just trying to be 'traditionalists'.

the touchscreens don't make sense and legislation doesn't really align with them... yea lets go ahead and ban holding cellphones but making touching a touchscreen that has 5 menus and 10 submenus that are insanely distracting and take your attention off the road instead

BMW is already reverting with IOs9... VW got trashed with the new interface and is doing the same...

No...and I'm kinda confused. What was the complaint about?

EDIT:
Whoa, I just looked up what that means. I hope you do something about this false accuser, that's a pretty serious and ridiculous charge. Please let me know what this is all about. Anyway, I've been here for a long time and legit (i.e. not a bot or doing those weird 'social engineering' things, I didn't even know what the term meant!). I'm kinda disappointed if this accusation is against me as a quick perusal of my post history would prove my case and also I wonder about the sincerity and ulterior motive of whoever did the accusing.
