It's in Montreal, but it looks different and isn't quit as fast as it once was.

The new owner has an X6M that he has an attachment to, so he has transferred most of the performance goodies: Pure Turbos, RK intakes, AA dps, Akrapovic, ADVs, Brembos, H&Rs to his X6M.

The X5M now has inherited most of the OEM parts that came off the X6M and now wears black OEM 20" wheels with red OEM calipers. It has been personalized to the new owners taste and yet I don't mind at all; it dosen't look bad in that color combination!

On a side note; The shop owner/mechanic that is exchanging the parts between the X5M and X6M told the new owner that my X5M was the cleanest car he had ever seen in his life!

Maybe Ray will chime in here and share more pictures of the X5M and his X6M when he gets it done... which is likely advancing the performance of the X6M to the next level. He definitely has a great foundation.

looks like Ray bought himself a good donor for his X6M

sad to see one of the cleanest X5Ms go but looking forward for new project

and yes Montreal is great, visited it last August in my M

Agreed..it still looks great, and yes that was a quick swap...curious to see what the X6M looks like now.

Maybe the front lip? Ray seems to like the Vorsteiner better... As far as the hood, he went to a lot of expense and trouble to get it, I doubt that it will be for sale anytime soon, but who knows?

We sold her '08 X3 and my X5M, so we are down to three cars now, which is good because we now only have a 2 car garage since we downsized to a condo! The M4 has a designated space in the garage and she can now park her daily (X3 M40i) in the garage too. This makes her very happy and I have one less vehicle to deal with and maintain! The new X3 makes a pretty good compromise.

If the stock M4 mesh wheels would fit an X5M... I'd powder coat them black and put them on mine, I love the look of them.

You would probably need some thick spacers!
I really wanted to try them on the X3 M40i, but the G01 is now 5x114 instead of 5x120
