Color Change....
Been studying at YouTube online school. My first attempt at becoming a rap artist:
I will post completed pictures in a few days when I get the car finished. This is the 2011 e70 I had talked about wrapping in an earlier post |

Impressive. That just looks like too much work for me!
I have been having issues with the Sport/Manual mode being locked out on my shifter. I researched here and Xoutpost, and disassembled my shifter enough to conclude that yes, its a standalone little "box of switches" with a Gearshifter sticking out the top, is connected by only wiring to the car, and the issue must be internal to that "box". Looks to be an easy swap. It is working normally today, but the issue comes and goes. Now its decision time - get another gearshifter and swap it in, taking the chance that fixes it 100% ? Club price at dealer is $995 ! Best price online I see is $775. If I swap and it doesn't fix it, I am out the price!

As far as what I did to my e70- I rolled 225k miles. Many more to come! Since I bought it on december 30th, 2018, I've put 21.5k miles on it. Yikes! In that time I've spent $2285.66 on fuel, and a measly $2992.93 on "service." This includes 2000 on a delete and tune, a shop replacing the thermostat, and a wheel bearing, AND the purchase of my summer set of 19's that came with tires. Oil is free to me, sicne I have a local shop that does an FCP-esque warranty, so I use the good liquimoly stuff. I also only had to buy the first oil filter, as I just warranty those too. All in all, post delete, I havent really put any money into the car. I still need to swap my Glow plug controller, I have the part, but haven't had a moment to change it. Been spending all my time on my drift car, which needed a starter changed and then the fuel pump ended up dying at the same time which took a bit of diagnosing before figuring out the issue. All this work is happening after I commute an hour home from work, then 30 mins to my shop, after a full day at my full time job. Too many projects! I've been bringing my DRZ400 back to it's former glory too, so time is hard to come by. |

Almost 22k miles in 6 months is impressive man! Sounds likes it's been a reliable 22k miles as well. Hope it keeps treating you well!!!

Always put PPF's on all my vehicles as soon as I buy them. Called my PPF guy to set up an appointment to cover the X5M... Cost $2600 for front bumper/complete hood/fender/rocker panels/flares/rear bumper guards etc.
Since I spent so much money on PPF, thought screw the PPF guys and lets go and get an official training, become a certified PPF installer and never having to worry about them again Excited about this new venture and looking forward to installing my own PPF on my cars Last edited by quick; 07-04-2019 at 05:44 AM.. |

Replaced the rear reflectors with the IND units. Very happy with them and their service. I bought the fronts as well but those will be installed at a later date.
