Rear Parking Sensor replacement

Hi, I need to replace the two outer rear parking sensors on BMW X5 E70 2007, is this a straight forward job or will I need to remove the bumper?

Have you tried cleaning with WD40?
Something I saw on You Tube.

I just removed my rear bumper, but you should be able to reach them wo removal. If you need specific pictures pm me. I also have removal notes if you need.
