Thank you! I like the looks and price point of H&R, but I would be lying if I said it rode like stock. I can deal with the ride as I've had lowered cars my whole life, but it can get rough on crappy roads. Setting the rear ride height to be slightly higher than the front is key to maintaining a somewhat decent ride with them.

Very nice! How are you liking your exhaust setup? Not to many folks with a ap/gintani combo.

When I purchased the truck it already had the exhaust installed from the prior owner and I was pleasantly surprised when the truck arrived from California as I didn't know it had it. I really like the sound...deep and bassy but not too loud in the cabin. I then installed the AP catless downpipes which also have resonators which completely changes things. It is still deep and bassy when just cruising with the flaps closed, but once you open them up and put the shifter in Sport it sounds pretty raw! You get a lot of turbo spool under acceleration and on decel it rumbles/crackles. I personally love it. I'm going to post a video soon once I have my cold-start modified to show the difference between stock and tuned. Last edited by Creamo3; 09-18-2015 at 01:23 PM.. |

Thanks!
It still handles really well, but can be a little rough on less than perfect roads. Setting the rear to be slightly higher than the front helps with the bounciness and ride quality. |

Are there any other spring options for those of us with EDC and Active Suspension?! I would really like to go with the 2" drop vs. 1.2+ but the oem shocks would get taxed.

Were you up at Performance Solutions with Ryan on Friday?
He sent me a pic saying he was in love with your X5M. If no, disregard! Regardless, looks awesome! |
