Not able to adjust maximum Navigation Guidance volume for CIC
Has anyone had to deal with the same issue? I went through the CCC to CIC retrofit on my 09 X5. All went well with retrofit (thank you to Patryk!); however, I have one small issue. With original BMW oem logic-7 top-hifi amplifier, maximum navigation guidance voice level is way too low. One can barely hear the voice. If I connect it to an after-market amplifier, then volume level for navigation can be re-adjusted to normal or (high enough to hear well) level. I was wondering if this adjustment can be done through re-coding of the CIC unit? There must be a way to do this other than replacing original oem amplifier. How does the 2010-2013 BMW models, which come from the factory with CIC and Logic-7 amplifiers do it? Any feedback or past experience with this issue would be greatly appreciated

If I remember correctly, you can adjust the navigation volume by turning the radio volume while the navigation is speaking. If you miss it, just use the voice command to repeat it.

Brian, that's correct. You can adjust volume while NAV is speaking. However, maximum volume level (adjusting all the way up) is not enough to hear what NAV is saying, especially if you have a window open and some tune playing
