Hope you find a job soon! GLWS and nice SG X5M!!! Saw the hitch there, could be a great towing vehicle. I would post in some of the Three-Series or other forums and maybe some other track car forums to see if anyone wants a fun tow vehicle!

As someone who's been shopping for an X5M for almost a year, this is an amazing deal! I wish you were in Ca!

Sounds like a decent deal but not amazing or smoking deal.

imo, any warning light on just gives sign to potential buyers to stay away even if you state the issue especially on a vehicle over 100k miles with accidents.

Personally with an airbag warning light on, known accident, and 120K miles on an already expensive to fix vehicle; I wouldn't go near it.

You should fix the air bag sensor before selling. You'll have better luck and possibly sell for more.

What are the chances of you finding an amazing deal within your search area which is ?

I have always bought my cars long distance and the last one being a 2007 530i with 43,000 miles out of Vegas this past summer. I flew there and drove 1960 miles over a two day period and had a blast of a time.

If the deal is amazing and you like the car, I'd say go for it.

The chances over the past year have been 0. That said, I have a pretty specific want and though this is a good deal, it's not good enough to warrant a cross country trip to pick it up. I'm currently looking at and hopefully purchasing next week a 2013 X5M in Houston and plan on driving it home. I'd buy this X5M if it was local just because it's a great deal on a nice looking sav. Where the X5M in Houston is exactly what I want, even though it's way more $$$.

That is not necessarily true. The seat occupancy sensors on these cars go out very often than you'd think, doesn't have to be from an accident. I've seen it happen so many times. Your comment just goes to show how little you know about these cars. And as long as it's been properly maintained the mileage is no issue, as it's priced very competitively. The guy is already in a tough situation, so take your negative, untrue comments elsewhere

You're right I know very little about the X5M. I merely suggesting that he should fix the air bag light as 99% of potential buyers aren't going to put down money based on word of mouth that the problem is just the sensor. Especially when he mentioned there were 2 accidents involved on the vehicle.
It's unfortunate that he lost his job but warm and fuzzy comments aren't going to help him sell his SAV.
Eliminating issues that potential buyers might have concern over will only aid his sale. That's just my opinion.
