Hands down, the tune is by far the biggest performance upgrade that you can feel by the seat of your pants. I loved the tune upgrade, but adding the DPs added maybe another 5% more horsepower? It is also possible that DPs could have a negligible effect on torque values due to reduced back pressure...?

Anyway, mine felt ALOT quicker with just a tune. It doesn't feel any faster with the DPs and having tune adjusted for DPs, It just sounds louder and creates gaseous odors. I've emailed tech support at AA about my experience with the DPs, asking if they could take another look at improving the tune and/or helping with the gaseous odor problem, but they never bothered to respond.

Noticed significant power difference before DPs (with tune).... but not so much with DPs and (adjusted tune): Just louder.

I think the issue is that the tuners aren't really adjusting their tunes for downpipes. Their "stage 2" tune simply turns off the CEL when you don't have cats. I think if you got a dyno tune with downpipes, you would definitely pick up HP

He gets the yellow brembos than he can do a photo shoot with the bbs/brembo combo action. Then once those bbs have had their moment he can order new wheels and repeat the process.


Either way though his wallet will be lighter so it's a win win for us.

Looking forward to seeing what you went with. Should pretty much complete your vehicle right? Though I'm surprised you haven't updated the rear lamps to LED.
