AC Belt change, what socket do I need to rotate the crank?

Tried searching and recall seeing it somewhere but can't find it

is it 22mm?

Don't know the exact size off the top of my head but you'll need to loosen the 4 smaller bolts so the crank pulley gets closer to the AC pulley. I believe those are e-torx bolts.

I think you will likely also have to remove the radiator fan to have access. The fan isn't bad, one big electrical connector. Then there is a release tab on the passenger side and it will start to come up. It has hose clamps attached to the fan you'll have to work those hoses around the clamps when pulling the fan.

This info is for the 4.4 V8. Likely on the 6 cyl you have more room.

depends what engine you have, my m57 has 4 small bolts cant remember exactly maybe 12-13mm, i just put a socket on one to rotate the crank, wasnt hard and the belt is a stretch fit.
