E70 def and scr delete tune without hardware removal

Hello,

I have 2013 E70 diesel with 117k on clock and started giving me incorrect exhaust fluid message and code for scr running inefficient.
My question is can I just delete DEF/SCR thru flash but keep hardware on car? Also want to keep EGR and DPF.

Can someone help me out before I dish out $$$ on it? I'm eyeballing one tune that basically will do what I need but need some more info.
