Cost of tires with different size factory wheels?

Hi all, I am looking to buy a 2014 or newer x5. One question I have is, what are the different costs for replacement tires for the different size wheels? Is there a big difference?

Google is your friend. The easiest one line answer I can come up with and not sound like a prick is:

Find the tire size that is commonly shared with a mass produced OEM car for the best bang per buck on rubber. Adversely... BMW has some tire sizes in use that are relatively rare... and those are gut punches to replace.

Different sizes, different brands, different speed ratings, different stores all have different prices.

If you go to tirerack or discounttire.com and plug in the year/make/model, it will then ask what trim level and wheel size. You can figure out costs on your own from there. Expect roughly 1000-$2800 assuming run flats being the most expensive

if you really care about tire cost(you shouldnt) you should avoid 315 rear tires... Since I went through a set of summer performance for about 20k, it cost me $2000 to replace all 4
