new DCT for X6?

Hello guys!

I love the new X6. Always a big fan of BMW when I was a kid. Will there be a dual clutch system for the X6? Maybe end of 2009?

Persuade me why choose new X6 over the new FX. There is 40,000usd difference between the 3.0 X6 and FX35 here in Taiwan.

BMW is known to be working on a dual-clutch gearbox, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for it in 2009.

X6 vs FX: Drive both and I imagine your brain will say "FX" and your heart will say "X6". Your decision!

haha yeah, I always love how BMW drives. But 40k gap is a lot in my opinion.

I was in your same boat but I was trying to decide between the X6 50i and the FX50 and ended up choosing the X6 50i and I am very glad I did. There was about a $15k price difference but I can assure you that the infiniti did not drive or handle nearly as well as the BMW. Body roll was very pronounced in the infiniti although they were about equally as fast. Gas mileage is better in the BMW but the Infiniti has more technology and gadgets, although the BMW has a lot as well but is missing the laser-guided cruise control, lane departure warning and 360 degree cameras for parking.

You can't go wrong with either but my heart was set on the BMW because I wanted the best handling, performance and steering response.
