Where do you buy your tires?
I shredded through my drivers rear tire a while back after getting a flat on the highway, and have been on my winter wheels ever since. Now that the ski season is over, I need to replace the tire (Pirelli Scorpion 335/25/R22) but it looks like it isn't available anywhere in stores or online.
I know this is not a rare tire for our cars, so where do you all source them from? I would hate to have to get a new set on all four corners because I can't replace the rears. Open to any suggestions. |

My first attempt found 9 in stock at TireRack.com...all I did was copy and paste the tire info you listed into a google search: https://www.tirerack.com/cart/HoldingArea.jsp
Discount Tire appears to have them, too: https://www.discounttire.com/fitment...size/335-25-22 BTW...how or what type of search did you do...I’ve seemed to have no problem finding them on my first to attempt by simply typing Pirelli Scorpion 335/25/R22 into a google/internet search box? Are you coming up empty after putting the tires into the online shopping cart and then discovering they don’t have them in stock? FYI...you don’t have to purchase from either of those two vendors...I was just killing time. You can actually check with local vendors (especially if you have Discount Tire/America’s Tire)...and they can order them in for you at the local shop. You can also check with any of the other national tire chains...they usually price match and will order tires even if they don’t usually sell that brand.

I’ve used Tirerack for the last set I bought. They can shave a tire to match tread depth if you just want to replace 1.
Discount tire is also good |

I've always used Discount Tire - always cheaper than Tire Rack when I've looked.
I'm about to buy new 21" MPSS in stock sizes - they're $130 more at Tire Rack, and then I'd have install costs on top of that, anywhere from $100 - $200 at one of their 'independent recommended installers' per their website. |

I was by Big O tires that Pirelli no longer even makes this tire so the only source would be an online retailer that has them in inventory. |

Primarily here to echo suggestions for tire rack, discount tire direct, and simple tire... all good choices in my own experience.
Though I know I have a minority opinion here, I’ve had excellent, problem-free results finding used tires on eBay under similar circumstances. Actually, replacing a single damaged one with a comparable age and tread depth was the easier eBay tire purchase than shooting for 4. A quick search of eBay shows two such Pirelli tires: ~$100 & ~$150 with 6/32” tread

I've done both Tirerack and Discount tire. Discount tire told me last time that if I were to call them, they would always beat Tireracks pricing.

Discount tire for me as well. I have a good friend who works there and always hooks me up, but when I have been in to other stores, they have seen the history on my account and matched what he has done for me as well.
On these staggered fitment vehicles, they are ok with just doing fronts or rears, as I had to do mine at a few month interval last year due to bad inner tire wear. Only did the fronts since one got a gauge in the sidewall from a pothole, and I found a good set used near me. |

Sounds like those won't work for your needs unless you're OK with something which is close enough. I noticed inventory change every week or so once people start shedding their old rubber in the spring. Good luck!

UPDATE - Spoke to a BMW tech at my local dealer and they verified that a similar tire with the same speed/load ratings would not mess with XDrive. I'm ordering a pair of P Zeros for the rear and hoping to get them in by next week.
Apparently most tire shops read that XDrive cars must have the same tires on all 4 corners so they'll refuse to install the rears for me. Luckily I have my winter wheels on so I'm going to take the 2 summer wheels and hope for the best. Thanks for the help. Let me know if any of you are looking for a single 335/25/R22 Pirelli Scorpion Zero with healthy tread to keep on deck or as a replacement given that they're now NLA . |

I have 20s and Discount Tire worked best for me although I've purchased many tires from Tire Rack.
