LED Reverse Lights
Hello,
Has anyone replaced the type 921 rear backup bulbs with LED's and needed a resistor? I am looking at the Profile Peak 2's. Thanks! Danny

I don't recall what I bought, but it flickers for the first 3 or so seconds. Then is solid and bright. No error lights at all with it. I think I just bought some bulbs off amazon with no specific criteria of being error free or knowing they work flawlessly with a modern BMW.

FYI - these worked for me. No resistor. No blink at startup for my 2013.

Do LEDs make a difference in the reverse light housing? Do they really cast more light out the back? The housing seems pretty poorly designed

I think the LEDs will be brighter for the reverse lights but I'm not expecting a huge visible change from the drivers seat. The reverse LEDs in my E90 and E46 are noticeably brighter though bc the design.
