2013 X6M U.S Smoke LCI/LED TAILLIGHTS

hello
just update smoke 13" LCI USA Ver Taillights !! I did on two month ago and someone was asking for picture. so, here is ..

using very lighter film and makes look like little darker just like 13" Cayenne GTS Taillights.

taillight was installed Jan 2013 LCI US Ver & recoding / program at dealer.

It looks amazing! Do they turn signal blink in orange or red?

Where did you buy them?

Hmm..if I remember correctly the signals and brake bulbs are normal halogen bulbs, not LED.
Only the strips are LED.

Was I wrong?

Looks good. You know what slightly peeves me on all these and on the e70 is that the upper corners aren't LED like the 3 and 5 series LCI tails.

Especially if you spring for the front LEDs, I feel like the tails should have been updated.

I love the light bars on the LCIs but that lone old bulb doesn't fit. I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere but this just reminded me. Feel like they're comparable to 997.1 vs 997.2 tails and BMW only did it half way on their LCI for the trucks... oh well - first world problems.

Spot on comment. I don't like it neither but I guess they have some road map for next few years to simply keep it design fresh. They have started without LCI, now half way and next generation whole. What after LCI? Don’t know but they surely do. Perhaps OLED?
I have joined this forum because I am buying 4 years old 50i full spec for less than half price and I will spend few £$ to update to blackline LCI lights, and front one LED as well not mention rims to style 300 or 336. All this because I believe in terms of general appearance there won’t be much of difference between current X6 and 2015 model. From my perspective it is worth to preserve $60K that way. Judging by pictures attached BMW guys don’t want to change design formula which works perfect as we speak.

What lip spoiler do you have and who did the smoke?? Is the smoke painted or film?? I have a 2013 X6M in the carbon black

That 2014 spied rear light looks good.
Seems like it's full LED and the red stripes are uniform like Audi's (I believe same as the new X5).
I sure hope the size will be the same as our current gen so it can be retrofitted.

it's carbon performance spoiler & window fin from bmw.
for taillight is lighter smoke film. so when you did not want dark version. you can remove it to have red light back on.

2 weeks ago i was trying to help my buddy tint his x6m pre facelift tail light, its definitely a royal pain in the a$$, and i screwed up pretty badly.

I can't tell from your pic....did you paint the rear fins to color match?

What type of film was used? I am assuming it is vinyl film not window tint film. Do you know the name and manufacture of the film?
