Torque Converter Upgrade Or Replacement

I'm looking for either an upgraded or custom billet torque converter. I reached out to revmax.com to see if they make anything custom for the

ZF 6HP-28X that's in this 2010 X6M (donor car 2011 x5m)

VAC recommended also looking into replacement clutch packs.

Anyone ever source out custom torque converters?

Update: http://www.jakesperformance.com/ is willing to take a look at the factory TC. Im sending it in next week. Stay tuned.

Found another opportunity from cdsftw.com

They're working on a triple disk X5M custom torque converter. Won't be finished until December 2021. I am following up with them in January 2022.

They also state:

"Most of our bigger power ZF customers are swapping to 6r80 stator support and input shaft. These components are stronger than the ZF pieces, so you might look into doing this."

levelten.com is the best. they can work on any transmission or torque converter. i sent my TC up to them today. $1000 and they will rebuild it to support 1000hp. naturally i wont be that high on hp nor can i launch this frankenstein when im done.......... but just saying

also, they offer a full transmission and tc upgrade to support 1000hp for $7000 just in case u do wanna launch it all the time.

just got the torque converter back from levelten.com. super fast. UPS delivered it to them this past monday.....and i received it back today (thursday).

not much to look at, new coat of paint on the outside but definitely looks new down the input shaft. guaranteed to handle 1000hp. too bad I wont know how it runs for another few months. still waiting on the block from VAC

Oh u went with the 1000hp one. I know they have 700 and 1000.

Any pics? Did you tell them anything specifically or just told them you needed the upgraded for your zf6hp28x?

Yea they upgraded my trans and mechantronics unit.

Did everything except the Torque converter.

Just told them the Trans number like u mentioned and yes I said round up on the hp, so went with the 1000hp tc. I was too cheap to spend the 7k for full trans n tc for 1000hp
