315/25/23???
i think im about to pull the trigger on a set of 23's with conti tires for my x5. just wondering how much trouble im asking for. i know the ride will suffer some, but im ok with that for the improved look. what im not ok with is bending or cracking rims often. ive had low pro tires on pretty much every car, but never this low. my tahoe had 295/35/24s on it with tis wheels, which were cast and weighed a ton. it was also lowered with pedders springs so it handled awesome. never a problem and i drove it pretty aggresive. the x5 wheels im considering are forged monoblock, so im assuming they are pretty strong and relatively light... anyone currently riding on this tire size that can give me some feedback? tia

i guess no one has 23's on their x, so im the guinea pig. i got a used set of agetro m100s. has a little rash but for what i paid for them im cool with that. i plan to get them refinished, if they last through the summer, when i take them back off for the winter. i was a little concerned with weight for 23's but to my surprise its a lighter setup. my stock msport 20s with conti dws front are 71.5lbs f and rear 84lbs. agetros with the conticrosscontacts weigh 72lbs. another suprise is how nice it rides. ride feels like it did with the stock bridgestone runflats. firm, but definitely not harsh... anyway heres a couple teaser pics. more to come...
