X6M coldstart missfire

Hello,

My X6M has a problem, when the engine is cold. the engine will not run at all cylinders and it gets some missfire's.

i already changed spark plugs and ignition coils. reseted lvs. adaptions etc...

when the engine is hot, i dont have any problems.

error code:
2B1C: combustion misfires cyl. 7

You NEED new injectors, you literally also need to stop driving the car as flooding the engine with fuel can hydrolock it...GF's engine shattered piston #1 from the same issue. They're a recall item so you'll get a loaner but you might be stuck getting it towed there yourself.

should i switch one injector to other cylinder, prog dem on ecu and then check if the error switches to other cylinder? if it switches, than its 100% the injector

Hi guys i realy need help with my x6e71 its refusing to idle for more than 20 minutes or to drive , it switches of , i called many technichians they cant find fault , i being buying parts like crank sensor , pressure sensors etc but no joy . now they saying high pressure regulator pump and injector ? please advise .

No, you cannot just sway injectors. Coils and Plugs yes. Injectors are covered, get the car to the dealership.

Tell them to perform the recall maintenance on the injectors. 1 thing at a time.

Yes, you can swap injectors so long as you code them as well. What Staten is saying is that the injectors are covered under a BMW recall.

Are you using 92 octane fuel or better? Changing to a higher octane fuel at this point won't fix the issue but, if you're not using good fuel and the recommend octane then you Will have issues with preformace regardless of the ping sensors on the engine.
