The way I look at is, I can easily spend $200 in 5 minutes in any NYC bar during happy hour...I'm not keeping my truck much longer but in the meantime, it's better than nothing

I've had the e92 v9-85watt and at night these things were pretty bright. Just over a few months some of the LED's stopped working due to heat I'm thinking. hope this doesn't happen with LuX, I'm ready to buy em.

Guys turn off your daytime running and just use your LEDs AE's at sundown. They are useless during the day and will just have us going crazy thinking about the money we spent and not as bright as LCI versions.. It shows from these 3pages of LED talk
First thing I'm going to do is have my gf drive my x5 and I'll be Infront of her looking in the rear view mirror to see how these puppies look in the day light. If they are 60-70% of an LCI I'll be pleased.

I know at dusk they will be insane looking and very bright. Not worried about that.

All of these pics and products look fairly decent (some better than others) when you take a photo of the vehicle standing directly in front of it. It's when you stand or look off-center that the whole look goes to crap. Even the cheapest junk on eBay looks okay straight on. How about some pics off center….let's see how it looks then…

As others have said though, in most cases they're all an upgrade over the yellow OEM color.

I know this picture isn't of an X5, but here is a shot from our friend Dejan from Serbia and his X1 with the LUX H8 160 lights installed

These are the only pictures we received from this person. From the side the outer rings will start to become less visible of course, but the inner ring will stay just as bright.

The LUX does a great job, other than sending your head lights out for retro fit they are the best looking option available and cost effective @ 200

Installed the new 160's this past Saturday on my black x5. I'm having an issue with one of the headlights outer ring not being 100% white. See if you notice the difference.

Here is the passenger side. Pure white both rings.

And here is the drivers side. Can you notice the outer ring isn't as white? More off white.
