Trace the fuel line on the firewall near the jump battery post to the engine. First sensor on the hardline on the engine.

For those that have X5Ms produced pre 10/2011, replacing the line might be required to change the sensor. See note here. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=13_1269
If anybody needs the newer line, I may still have a used one from ebay. I didn't want to use it as it was bent during shipping. A mechanic shouldn't have any problems having it fitted. |

Any update on this? I'm having the same issue bmw says I need a new low pressure fuel sensor. So does the hole line need to be replaced? And does any one have pics and a write up on diy. Any info would help thanks.
