Either way hopefully that test map shows the 36CA cleared, the roads aren't to wet on our side. Just trying to make time with tons of stuff going on is my problem now

MHD update v0.64

Hey guys,

Per MHD another map update has been released, hopefully to fix the 36CA issue.

Below is the updated information;

- Added the "disable kickdown" option
- All maps updated to 0.23 to fix the 36CA code.
- Tweak for the xDrive+AT torque limiter

Both ran on the E70 or was the 36CA on the E90 and stg 1 + test was the E70?

The 36ca is on the e70. Both these logs are from the e70 running test file from Justin at stage 1+. Seems like xdrive cars are having issues.

Boost is not as high as my e90 but maybe it needs to be driven more before logging. This was a log right after flashing. I can't drive the car more than a few miles before it goes into 36ca limp so can't get a good log. But it did feel really torquey for the short drive lol.

My e90 runs good., No errors on v22 s1+. Ill update to v23 tomorrow

Wow that's nuts, yeah I just read the other forums thread to catch up on the 36CA codes. I have yet to flash to the newer version since I have ZERO issues with it. Good that the new OTS map is more torque than the previous stg 1+ yet sucks you can't WOT without throwing the 36CA

Which version are you running? The original v0.18?

Just checking in with you guys. Got my test car back up and running this morning. New plugs, VSRF 7" intercooler, and brand new radiator. The last one was leaking from the endtank.

This morning I finally got the 36CA for the first time ever. Got a good log Of it. So making some adjustments right now and going out to test. Sorrt for the issue. I've never gotten the 36CA on my test car until this morning. So when stuff was working for myself and a couple other testers. I called it good. Will report back a little later guys. Thanks for your patience.

Appreciate your guys' hard work Justin and also sorry for your loss since we know the unfortunate has happened. Yes, I believe I am on the v0.18 due to the fact I mentioned the throttle mapping wasn't as aggressive versus the initial stg 1 release.

Awesome to know you're going to squash that 36CA code, I'll flash with the newer version once that code hopefully is good to go on the stg 1+

oh yea, alot more torque on the latest map. my log still didn't see the same boost level as my e90 and also it's far from target, i think bhan mentioned boost leak so i'm gonna check all the piping this weekend. maybe something is loose.

you can wot without any issues, 36CA comes up when cruising. so i can warm up the car, switch maps, hopefully drive the car around a bit for the car to adapt and run log. the second gear log i ran was only after about few miles of driving. so car hadn't adapted yet.

How many lbs was your E70 reaching before the 36CA came on? Your E90 was hitting roughly 14lbs right?

Yea e90 was about mid 14s. The log I posted here for the e70 shows 13s. High 13 around 3500

That's pretty solid since boost seems to really spool up around those RPMs, I'm impressed with the overall smoothness of this tune. Granted I am on the older version so I'm sure it's ONLY going to get better once that 36CA gets taking care of

Oh just read you had a great experience on the stg 1+ with the E90 that's great. No codes at all the way through or cruising?

Yeah I've been noticing that after reading and seeing what others have which are the xDrives getting the 36CA error. I wonder why that is, we've both never had that happen until the recent updates to the OTS maps. I wonder what changed in the tune

Hence why I haven't done anything yet as far as updating the OTS map

Yup donno what changed. Apparently mostly happebs are cruising and light loads. Mhd and Justin will find the issue soon.

I haven't, I'm going to try relatively soon to post up a comparison. Did you use the MHD app to log or what did you use?

Justin question for you, even though I'm on the v0.18 can I flash to the stg 1+ on the v0.18 or do you think I'll be required to update the OTS map before doing so? I tried to see if that was possible but my tablet died before I had to chance so figured I'd ask ahead of time before attempting such

Hey just want to chime in, yes if you still have 18 on tab, do not update your tablet software, just flash the car with 1+ on 18.
