Great to hear, were they just a bolt on? Did anything else have to be changed?

F85 requires two bolts on the front and rears rotors to hold them in place.

E70 requires one bolt on the front and rear rotors to hold it in place.

I was able to use only one bolt on the front and non on the rear due to the bolt hole not being in the same spot as my oem rotor so i used the wheel bolts to hold it in place.

Looks great! I will be doing this when it's time for replacement. I don't the 1vs2 rotor bolts will make any difference. After all, the lug nuts are holding pretty hard.

Pretty much this. One could argue, you don't need any at all since again, the lugnuts are applying their force to the hub

The difference being they're just drilled rotors, correct?

Oooohhhh ahhhhh. Other than cost, is there any proof of better stopping power then.

No one can prove anything at this stage since the combination isn't tested, but theoretically, the 2 piece design should offer better fade resistance due to better cooling and lighter weight will result in less inertia. I doubt there will be a difference driving normally, but there probably are some improvements in a heavy use scenario such as track

I see what u r saying, but even tho original E70 M rotors is technically a 2 piece, they do still have a large portion of the iron disk that is molded into the center hub. What I'm referring to is by 2 piece is the usual design where the iron rotor ring is just the ring it self and the majority of the hub is alloy which attaches to the rotor ring itself by hardware, this is more inline with aftermarket big brake kit rotor designs

2lbs removed at the wheel, is more beneficial than 2lbs removed at the rotor when it comes to acceleration. Like going from RFT to non-RFT's.... 2lbs off the hub/rotor gives better suspension response, which is also a good thing, but not as noticeable.

Going from RFT to non-RFT is beneficial, however conceptually, reducing mass from the rotor and the wheel itself in this case is no different as both of these are rotating mass, what you are referring to is if the reduction came from moving components such as the hub carrier but not rotating mass which the brake rotor is a part of
