Yes, right now the DEPOs are in the M... I'll probably swap them tomorrow or over the weekend.

I missed this group buy as I just joined the forum. But if you end up with an additional clear set or the opportunity to order more, please let me know.

Hey, welcome to the forum! I'm out of the country until the 26th of November. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few more early December. Please PM me your name, email, mailing address, and phone number. Thanks.

hey, I received a set of these taillights about a month or so ago which was awesome, but has anyone been having any taillight malfunction issues? I just got around to installing them last night and I have experienced two malfunctions so far. started and drove the car home last night no issues, as well as to work this morning. then I left work and the left rear malfunction indicator came on in the dash, then went away. taillight is working fine. happened one more time before I got back to work. was thinking about maybe pulling the taillight and double checking the plug is nice and tight. anybody have this issue?

thanks.

I should specify I have a 2007 X5 3.0 Si.

Hey there, I installed a set on my fiancé's 2007 3.0si and my own 2007 4.8i, and both continue to work malfunction free. You left the resistors plugged in correct? BMW's can be quite finicky when it comes to electrical stuff, so my suggestion would be to get your car coded for LCI tail lights if checking the connections doesn't solve it. If you PM me, I can put you in touch with the person who does all my coding.

thanks man. ill pull the passenger side as I haven't seen a malfunction indicator for the right side yet. see what's going on in there and report back. does this coding take place remotely or would I need to bring my vehicle somewhere to have the LCI coding?

thanks.

The coding can be done remotely. The guy who does mine just had me install teamviewer. You will need to buy a Dcan cable off amazon or eBay though.

Before you go through all the trouble though, maybe try swapping the resistors from left to right as well?

Just FYI, these just came back into stock and i'll likely order another 10 as a few people local to me in Denver have been bugging me. Let me know if anyone here is interested

This will probably be the last time I do this, it's pretty time consuming and my business is keeping me very busy.

Yes, the Depo LCI tail lights come with resistors that make them run error free without coding. One guy claimed to have an issue, but after I suggested he swap the resistors left to right, never heard from him again.

Unfortunately I have no plans to do another group buy in the near future. I sold my 4.8i and plan to pick up a X5M or 35i/d in the Spring. If I somehow end up with a pre-lci E70, I'll likely do one, but otherwise I wouldn't count on it.

Hello my friends and sorry to wake up this old thread :-D but I have a quick tiny question, see I did the retrofit to my 2008 E70, for the tail lights, and all is working well except the annoying error messages I’m getting on screen.

I have read about coding off all rear bulb checks, tried by myself but it didn’t work, though I think I installed everything properly.

So anyway I remember someone saying that there’s a cable that fixes this error without the need to code anything. (Because it’s basically a voltage difference or sth between the old and the new bulbs) so can u guys guide me if u know where to get these cables from? Or resistors?

And thanks in advance
