To dial in the mill and get it ready for production, I made up a simple test project: The M paper weight (or pet rock 2.0 lol). This was the very first cuts made on the mill and it turned out exceptionally well. I am going to make up a few more of these as I continue to get everything dialed in and the mill ready for the intake production. I will include one of these with every pre-order of the intakes just as a fun freebie .

Expecting to begin intake production in a about a week, will update again as we get closer.
That’s awesome! Looking forward to it

Extremely professional craftsmanship. A custom shop wouldn't even be this good. Very excited for the prototype. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but a custom engine cover would be the icing on the cake. Maybe next year for that. My pure turbo stage 2s will love those intakes.

Also exciting to hear about the CCV custom solutions , especially since us non-TUs don't have that CCV maize in the heads, I think, correct me if I'm wrong.

Massive difference on the 50i, was stuck at 515hp with stock intakes + stage 2 tune, downpipes & JB4. With new turbo inlets & intake power bumped to just a bit over 600hp and dropped 0-60 to 3.6 & 1/4 mile to 11.7. This is on a engine/transmission with 185k miles and no launch control.

Thanks TTV8M!

Update: Mill is now fully up to speed and dialed in, I am doing light production of the Intake Manifold support brackets now (see pic) but true intake manifold production will not begin until I finish up prior commitments for a friend and investor who made the acquisition of the mill possible. Only about 5-7 days left on that and then will have a time window to get the rest of the pieces in production. Will post update again at that time.

All of the aluminum parts will be Anodized Black, will leave some natural finish for those who prefer that finish or want to custom paint it. M logo will be added for all M versions (or by request).

Going good! Anodizing setup is coming in next week. Previous mentioned investor/friend project got delayed but now in final stages of completion adn wrapping it up for him so will be able to focus much more time on the intake production very soon.

After Intakes are wrapped up, catch-cans/mounts will follow right after and discounts will be available to anyone who purchased an intake. Easy to install Oil pressure gauge kit will follow right after.

Will make another update next week as soon as the anodizing setup is complete with pics of the parts in black, blue, & natural (custom colors will be available on request).

As I am getting close to final release, working on website for the actual intake for ordering options/color choices, combos, etc and will direct everyone there for final selections before I ship.

Apologies for being MIA, I had to complete a major project for a business investor/friend that was key to my business startup before I could get back to the intakes and did not want to return until that was complete.

Now that this milestone has been reached, the intakes will enter full production starting this Wednesday the 27th. I will start a new thread in the vendors forum and provide a link here to it. This thread will be updated daily as production goals are met. All pre-orders will be completed and shipped within the next two weeks.

As of show of gratitude for all of those that pre-ordered and stayed with me these past months, after the intake production is complete and all pre-orders are shipped. Every pre-order will be receiving a complete catch-can kit free of charge. This kit will include: Catch cans, Mounts specific to the E70, Valve cover adapters, custom vacuum pressure regulators, full -10AN hoses. This kit will be plug and play and will normally retail for 300+ dollars. I will start production of the Catch can kits immediately after completion and shipment of all intakes.

Below are pics of the kit installed in a N63 powered 750il. The kit all pre-orders will be receiving will look nearly identical to the pictures attached for the E70, save for a slightly different and updated mount to bolt to the E70. The beauty cap is not limited to the M logo. I can mill just about anything into it, I will contact all pre-orders when the time comes for anodizing color and logo choice.

Check back here Wednesday for a new update and link to the intakes production thread.

So I was the test vehicle for the 35d intakes and I haven’t heard from him in over a year, so I’ve lost hope at this point in this happening.

I am however going to be getting a nice 3d scanner sometime around next month and I’m probably going to be attempting my own version of an intake for our 35ds. So maybe someday soon I’ll get the project done and available for those who want one.
