Given that he's stopped at a gas pump, i assume that he drove that for some distance from the appliance store he got it from.
So...even if he was the biggest dumbfuck in the history of dumbfuckery. Let's say his picture is the dictionary entry for "dumbfuck". Still - How could he physically drive the thing that far without being able to see? |

In the parking lot of the local lumber yard I spotted a guy loading 2x8s like in the OP. He must have had 20 of them, and they were 12 footers. The end of the boards was only a few inches off the ground. I asked him how far he was going. He said about a mile, so I offered to put them in my truck and run them home for him. He declined. I left. No idea what happened.
