It came back!

The infamous BMW rattle came back! It's in the passenger front door arm rest
I've already taken off the door handle and put some foam in there
Rattle is still there right at the end of the armrest
I know the door panel has to be removed to remove trim but stumped from there if it needs to be removed to get tho the armrest.
Has anyone else ever gotten inside the armrest and how to do this

So service put there BMW mystery tape 3 weeks ago and I guess it wore off
Don't wont to give it to the dealer for 2 days again for it to happen again. Ya know

I had same on 2013 X5M. Took 2 trips to dealer to fix it. They told me they used some felt and it's been gone for >4 weeks now. Was very annoying to listen to.

Had the shop Forman drive the car
Heard it as we were pulling into the service area on our way back from the test drive
He replaced the whole entire door panel
He was a great guy
Me schmoozing him didn't hurt either
Not a peep since
The issue was in the actual arm rest which cannot be replaced individually
So there we go
Rattle gone
Happy camper

Car is a beast !
