Rear driveshaft knocking noise.?

Hello all,
I have developed this clicking noise that seems to be coming from the rear drivers side wheel, it started as soon as I was towing, 300 miles later it was still there, even after unhitching my caravan it was still there, today no noise what so ever!, has anyone experienced such a noise?

sounds like pinion gear tooth or ring since it looks like its not doing it on corners.. though if there is no noise right now after unhitching i d just ignore like it never happened..

cause one way or another after 3-4 years a lot of mechanical part on a car especially on diffs starts to wear out..

did you ever figure out what was causing the noise...

I'm having the same issue but from the front wheels
