Looks great now. How's the ride. Make sure to get an alignment in 1-200miles

Thanks, I have an alignment spot at BMW on Monday. It's certainly a bit off. The ride will take a bit of getting used to. I only drove it home from the shop, but felt pretty bouncy and rough over uneven road. I guess I need to get used to being lowered again. I will save some money for some KWs here shortly.

My 1.2" kit is perfect, No bounce and a nice tight ride. the bounce and rough ride on the 2" is the reason i didnt go for them. Like you said, if i want to go lower i'll do KWV3.

Nice man, yeah I'm enjoying the lowering kit now. I had the car aligned and it drives much better. I love how it looks. I'm gonna go look for some pics of yours... I checked and I have tint on my back windows, not sure if it's tint over factory tint. Is there a way to check? I wish we were closer, I'd swap with you in a second, and pay for the swap!

Thanks man, I got it from the Avin site, they offer a bunch of cover patters... the stock style, crosshairs or the ///M one. I went with this one because it matches the shifter. I'm trying to tastefully modify the interior. I just bought Argento's piano black interior, so it should look nice, I'm excited! I'm going to do the Avin 10.25" upgrade, upgrade my dash cam to a front and rear, maybe pedals/paddles and replace some worn buttons...

I have some things to install, but I have to get under the car to install them, it's cold here so not sure when I'll get to it. I have all new sway bar endlinks since they're pretty shot, and a motorized hideaway front license plate mount.

Found some time today to get my retractable license plate installed. My apologies as it's filthy at the moment. Still have to finish up some wiring, but here is a little video and some pictures of the install... Really the way to do this would be to take the bumper off and run the cables etc. It took me awhile to get the wiring run up into the engine bay.

Awesome mod!!! Does it have soft bumpers to protect the bumper cover? Or is it soft touching? Can't wait to see what's next....

I'll be hardwiring a thinkware f800 pro when I get my car back, front only view.

Yeah, it comes with foam bumpers... You can see them in the video, they're the grey rectangles that you see on the back. They go on the back where it touches the bumper... works perfect! Takes 4 seconds from closed to open, had to time it to see how long it takes in case I get pulled over, that way I know when it's fully extended!

I'm glad you're going with the dash cam... it's really helped me out with my wife's accidents.

awesome mod. every car should have this that needs a front plate instead of drilling holes in the bumper!!!
i could see some instances where that would come in handy for the rear license plate also lol.
coming along nicely, keep up the good work

That is awesome, if I keep my M I may have to get one, as the only time I have been stopped was for no front plate.

So if you take the bumper off, you can get pretty creative with how and where to install it. I drilled into the bumper and used double sided tape, so you could always drill through the lip... if I got a replica, I would probably just notch it there for the bracket. There is a guy on YouTube, the video is two part that installed this on a BMW sedan, he shortens his bracket and gets a bit custom with it.

Was nice the other day, adjusted my H&R links and noticed my sway bar end links were all dry rotted and nasty. Figured I should swap them out. Ordered the fronts too, assuming they're just as bad...
