Fs: 2013 bmw x5m
Up for sale is my tastefully modified 2013 BMW X5M with ~78k miles on her. I bought what was my dream car back in September of 2017 from a BMW dealership in Indianapolis. I had been scouring the internet for months trying to find the one I wanted after someone put their three-ball tow hitch through the front of 535i, but I could not find one that had all the features I was looking for (Black on Black with carbon fiber interior and all options including Adaptive LED headlights). When I finally found what I was looking for it was over 1000 miles away so I bought a plane ticket, flew to Indianapolis, bought the car, and then drove 15+ hrs to make it back home to Texas. Since then Ive been slowly customizing it. Outside BMW OEM Gloss/Flat Black Grill BMW OEM LED Door Logo Projector ///M LED Reverse lights and turn signals Tinted front windows 30% to match the rear Inside BMW OEM LED interior lighting Dynomat Xtreme on all four doors Performance VR Tuned ECU Flash Stage 2 Tune + Speed limit raised and cold start delete (you can actually see my car on their website) Burger Motorsports JB4 w/ BCM and Bluetooth Capable of running E30 blend Fabspeed axle back exhaust w/ black tips xHP Stage 3 Transmission Flash (will include android tablet) 2-Step colder spark plugs New ignition coils BMW OEM F85 drilled and slotted rotors Magnetic oil drain plug Coding Removed startup warnings (iDrive and Navigation) Comfort access features for all windows and tailgate using key fob (Open and Close) Folding side-view mirrors Easy Entry DVD In-motion And so on and so on The Good Comes with a transferrable EVP warranty through USAA (18 months and 15k miles remaining) All maintenance performed at local BMW dealership (can provide service records if requested) I have an additional set of original OEM Style 299 wheels w/ run flat tires that will come with vehicle The Bad About 3 months ago I backed into a cable box when I was leaving home. Wasnt going faster than maybe 5mph but the back bumper had to be replaced, there was no body damage Its a great car, is in great condition. It also has every factory option available minus the rear entertainment (which is just a low quality screen that takes up half of the armrest). PM me if you are interested. |

Wow, no traction with this sale? This seems like a pretty good deal for a newer example with LEDs. I wonder if the performance mods are turning folks off.

Yeah I'm not sure why there's no real traction either. Maybe it's a combination of the performance mods and the price? Not really sure. Either way, I'll leave it up for a month and then I'll list it elsewhere.

Sorry I thought I responded to this. Easy entry means that when you shut off the vehicle, the steering moves up and in while the seat moves back allowing you to easily get out of the vehicle. The seat and steering wheel stay that way until you get back in the vehicle and start it, then the seat and the steering wheel automatically move back into their normal driving position.

Chances of finding one as nice as this one in NY and in your borough is pretty slim. If it fits your criteria, take a plane ticket and drive it home as we all do. Bought my 997 TT 800 miles away, BMW 530, 1900 miles, X5M 200 miles and so on. Heck when I was buying a camry for our daughter, the one I liked was 500 miles away and guess what, yes I took a one way rental and drove it home the same day.

Yeah. The right X5M required flying and driving ~1200 miles back from the Miami area for my 1st one. Was looking nation wide for its replacement after a deer incident totalled it, just stumbled on a nearby one for vehicle #2. Go figure.
