Disabling air suspension after converting to normal spring
With you that have coilovers. What is your experience disabling the air suspension after a coilover install? I did not install coilovers but I did install a basic spring in the rear of the woman’s x5m. Unfortunately now she gets a warning due to this and it’s quite annoying. Originally this was because I thought there was a module issue and it wasn’t worth the cost or hassle so did a 200 dollar spring conversion. Everything was issue free again. After going in for a recall and it being updated, the system now kicks on. I’m not going back to unreliable air and I don’t want the compressor to be running. Have you coded it out? Resistors? Called up KW and got what they use? this is the last issue I haven’t been able to address

I would think they’d have to sell something to trick the height sensors for when lowering it with their coilover kits. I should just retrofit a better bag from airlift in place and make that work. Wouldn’t be that complicated but I don’t feel like it. We have one bagged car and possibly soon two. They can be a pain when stuff goes wrong
