Buying X5M pricing thoughts?

Item Interest

Local dealer has a 2012 X5M. 28k miles on it. Well optioned. The car is super clean first owner. No wear even in the steering wheel or seats. They are asking 33k.

I have options list. Thoughts on price?

The car has the yellow angel eyes this I think it is pre LCI?

price is pretty good based on mileage and year, there was no real LCI for M models (the last LCI for E70 regular X5 happened in 2010), there were many changes happened to X5M through production years, most noticeable in 2012 for 2013 model year: adaptive LEDs, blue calipers and some others...

Price is great to me, with the low miles. I paid 29k for a 2012 with 69,000 on it...

That's a very good deal, especially if it's a desirable color combination. I've been shopping for a similar vehicle for about 6 months and that beats anything I've seen, especially from a dealer!

Not sure what you're waiting for, you won't find another deal like this. I would use the guy in the classifieds selling the carfax's for $5 and check it over, other than that, grab it!

Have appointment on Monday to get the car. Carfax is clean! Checked for paint myself. Car seems clean, no paintwork.

My only worry is reliability. I have a 2018 S4 that I may trade. Audi is a great car just need a big family hauler.

Dealer took up the price to 36k. From advertised price of 33500 when they saw how low it was. Did not honor it.

I'd do some negotiating based on that, free oil changes, powder coat the wheels or something, but for the mileage, still a great price.

Speak to the manager. That's BS. That almost sounds like they listed low to get a ton of people interested, and then raised the price.

Dealers know very well how to price cars, it's what they do!
