Did the dealer confirm? Website says I don't have active steering, but the dealer confirmed that it is in the build (we'll wait and see) BMW deferred to the dealer.

Well with the exception of SOMEONE (ahem Mac), most people really like the shadowline. However, count me in with the few that don't like the Anthracite headliner - makes the car WAYYYY too dark inside (I went with the tan interior just because of this). The wheels are an easy fix - someone will trade you - maybe even the dealer (although I bet 2013 50is without the Sports Activity package are rare - except for SOMEONE here...

PS - they can always re-order the car for you. I did that with my 550 when the comfort seats were not added.

Ha! Remember I had three reason for not ordering the Sports Package:
1) Baby in car so preference for All weather in nYc
2) No interest in swapping winter and summer tires (already have a convertible anyway)- so I'll keep the All weather tires all year round.
3) Chrome trim looks better than the black! Doug.. its not just me!!!
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=574192
Steve j is adamant about the chrome finish. While I am not as extreme... the chrome finish and the trims was enough to bump me from a 35 to 50. (35 has black trim, 50 has chrome trim)

Looks like I will have the most unique ride.. since most 50s are ordered with the Sports Package... (Smile) I like that.

@ ifly... the Sports Package rims are hot... I am sure you will have the option to sell... do you and your wife prefer the base 50i rims?

That link did not work. However, I believe with the Sports Activity Package you get the 19s which are all season. It is not until you go with the M sport that you get the 20s.

I personally just hate chrome trim. Reminds me of my 1977 Pontiac LeMans

Try that link. It is rather entertaining.
The Sports Activity 19" are.... not appealing... The Base model looks a lot nicer to me. BMW could have made the decision a lot harder with better Sports Package 19" rims.

Well the dealer caught the problem and they are working on making it right.

We have the Sports package on our current X6 and even with the Oyster interior it is just too dark.

Prefer the base rims on the 50i and the chrome trim looks better to us than the Shadowline plus as was noted earlier nearly every X6 is coming with the Sport Package.

Hey! Those are the rims I have!
and yes, they are not that appealing - but the M Sport wheels - the 20s if you will are just not attractive to me. As my son says "They look confused". In a perfect world, I would have gotten the old Style 259 20" wheels. While they are not available here anymore as a factory option, when I was touring the plant during my PCD, I saw them come down the line and get mounted on an X6 right in front of me. So still available, just not in the US.

I am still missing the white interior I wanted. The beige ceiling etc is nice. But the beige floor not so much. The Ivory white comes with a black floor. I think that combination of Ivory White leather with black carpet would be easier to keep clean than beige on beige.

We had the Oyster on the last X6 and the floor was black along with the headliner but it still showed a lot of dirt, especially with our winters here in Colorado.

BTW still waiting on a production number for the 2nd try car. The 1st try car is finishing production today per the 800 number, I'm sure the dealer can find a home for it!

This hurts but...

You should have re-ordered. Too much money to "settle".

I want to apologize for this post. I woke up the next morning and thought - crap, did I write what I wanted to? (after a glass or two of wine).... checking now, it appears I did. I'm sorry. I personally love the tan interior but think the ivory with black would be stunning. Anyway, I know from the pictures you posted how happy you are with the car and you should not let the floor coloring take way from the incredible color combo you ended up with. In short, I'M SORRY!

Big man move Doug.
@ Love my X6, if I didn't already have the Beige interior in my Vert, I would have ordered that color. Again, I had to force myself to get the "Seat" color I like the most (Saddle), despite the Black floor and Grey ceiling (wtf?). The full Beige interior is so clean, unique, and sophisticated looking. Enjoy it!

I had no patience with a reorder. It took 3 months to get this one and my Dad's Jimmy I was driving after I sold the Enclave was killing me slowly. I do not know if I could have even ordered from the same dealer as that particular dealership is now sold out. They offered the best deal around to begin with and also gave me a deep discount for taking the car with the interior I had first thought I wanted.

I will tell anyone that is on the fence about the color that I think keeping white leather seats clean might be easier than keeping a beige floor clean.

I really do love my X6. The car looks great and I stowed the factory mats and am using BMW all weather mats. Beige. Still looks dirty. When I am ready I will trade it in for more goodies and maybe the 5.0.

No worries. Taking the car home was the right thing for me to do. It does look great it is what I wanted when I only had 2012 options in front of me. Loving the exterior color. That was a 2013 bonus that I am thankful I have!

Hope your reorder comes in soon! That is going to be awesome...Like mine but a 5.0! That is the other piece I wish I had, but feeding premium in the 3.5 is bad enough for me.
