Hi Folks - needing some help and some FYI's for 2006 X5

There is an 2006 X5 with 101K on it for $7999 - a little too rich for me... I might do something like $6500... Even that might be too much... Who knows?

Anyway, the car looks to be in great shape - going to see it tonite. I actually like the look of the older models - Just weird that way.

I have had an X3 and an X1 (the X1 we liked a lot, but hardly drove it for the price we were paying monthly payments - so we sold it)...

We are looking to drive this car mainly on the weekends and some light traveling (No more than 150-200mi occasional jaunts around New England).

Anyway - I was hoping to get a list of some sorts regarding what starts to fail on these things after this much time. I hear the occasional or more than occasional horror stories, but it's a beamer and I am a weak man.

I am a reasonable person and if the cons start to outweigh the pros - Than I might just wait a bit.
