how much did it cost you to have this installed? And the paddles work with the 8 speed right? Any special wiring required?

I installed it myself. Its very simple once you follow the DIY from e90 forums. It was plug and play and not extra wiring required. And yes it does work with 8 speed. It will look very good in your SUV

i had a regular sport wheel not the M Sport one but I did sell it

You can use your existing airbag module but you have to get a new airbag cover. you can find it on ebay:
