WTB: N55 Downpipe (stock or aftermarket)
I'm looking for an N55 downpipe, either OEM or aftermarket. I will be gutting the cat if it's an OEM one, so I'll buy either gutted or catted. PM me with what you have!

I have my OEM catted DP sitting in my attic, could sell it to you. Probably worth $400? Curious though; why would you gut an OEM DP that when for the same money you could buy a brand new resonated DP that I'm sure would sound MUCH better? Just a thought.

does it really make much of a difference for the sound? In my 335xi, the gutted OEM DP sounds great and I was able to source one for super cheap which is why I figured I would go the same route. If the OEM DP costs $400, then yeah it obviously makes more sense to go with VRSF.

From everything I've read, there's less drone with the resonator. It's a personal choice and it's up to you to decide, but I know if prefer less drone. Again, not telling you what to do, but just giving some food for thought.

I gutted my stock downpipe on my e70 35i. No issues, i love it. No leaks, bolts right up. No codes with MHD.
