Considering X5M brakes on my X5 50i but...?
OK, I've had my 2013 E70 at just under a year. I knew it would have issues, but I wanted it anyway (they are just the best drivers IMHO). Now I'd like to swap out those regular brakes and rotors for the more advanced Brembo big brake style found on the F85s but alas I have 19" wheels. Question is, will they fit?

I don't have the f85 calipers but I do have the E70 M calipers the f85 looks very similar in size, it not slightly bigger then the e70 M calipers and those barley have a half an inch clearance on 21 inch rims so highly doubt they will work on 19's. The massive rotor size plus huge calipers just takes up to much space for a 19.

I had to wait a bit for 20" OEM rims, but they can be had for reasonable money.
I got Style 300 rims for my (wife's) first E70 M-Sport as winter rims for $1700. |

Whoever the original owner of mine was went nuts with the options as it has the magnetic shocks, air suspension, and the hydraulic sway bars so if I have it off sport mode it still rides very nice. What I did notice though is road noise with the staggered 285's up front and 325's in the back. It gets pretty loud on some roads. With that being said, if your in a area with alot of pot-holes, I wouldn't recommend 21's

So our 2013 M-Sport came with whatever standard brakes, and the 20" 275 up front, 315 rear Style 333. My 2012 X5M came with 20" Style 299 in the same size and stock brakes. I was actually able to use the same winter rims & tires (without adapter spacers due to rear hub sizing).
