X5 3.5i 2012 new owner

I am picking up my E70 3.5i N55 next week and I was thinking after 10 years of experience, how/did your thoughts changed over the years?
It has 118k miles on it and are there recent buyers here that can give me advices? I have E53 with more miles on it and it runs perfectly fine, the part prices are fine, but how bad the E70 can be? Or can it be bad if well maintained?

Garage List
I bought my 2013 e70 3.5 new as a special order. It continues to be a vehicle that I find a pleasure to drive. I just passed the 60k mile mark and other than front and rear brakes it has been trouble free.

I extended the warranty for 4 years but for the last 2 years the brakes have been the only expense. Mine stays in the garage and the paint looks great and I still get asked at the gas station if its brand new. I added the Bimmertech MMI Prime a year ago and passengers assume its OEM.

Fuel economy is good -- not great -- I've gotten 27 mpg on road trips using hand calculations however. I average just over 21 a tank.

I've been using Lexol conditioner on the leather and the seats continue to impress.

My plan is to get at least 100k miles out of her.

Congratulations on your new e70 and I'm wishing you many S miles.

I have a 2012 5.0 (72k miles) so only some of the engine accessories work done under warranty by the dealer applies to you. ALL my work was done under CPO warranty, or recall / special customer campaign. Turbo coolant lines, water pump, aux pump, valve stem seals, really all the trouble spots.
My Transfer Case is getting sticky and I'm not sure if that is the same part for the 6-cylinder model.

The good news is that I have hardly had anything else to worry about as far as the rest of the vehicle. All the body, electronics and other stuff has been trouble-free!
