Tool substitute for driveshaft nut removal 33 0 080

Looking to replace the rear output shaft seal on my 2011 X5M this weekend. Have all the parts but can't locate this wrench in time for a weekend job.

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...r-box/F728zoQx

Has anyone fabbed something up or used an alternative?

Thanks

Couldn’t you just use a 50mm open end wrench. Although it’s expensive but not bmw outrageously expensive.

I borrowed the tool from my local BMW dealership when I needed it.

Might be able to use these if you have an HF nearby: https://www.harborfreight.com/6-piec...set-33284.html.

I'd take the replacement driveshaft nut to HF and see if you can find something that fits. You will need some leverage to get the old nut off as its loctited.

Thanks All, turns out I did not need the wrench. Simply disconnected at the xfer case and had enough room to remove coupler etc.
