Replaced oil level sensor - Now Measurement Inactive
My Oil level sensor had been concerning me for awhile as it ALWAYS read Max even when I added 2 extra quarts or had driven it for 2000 miles. I decided to replace it, but now it just says "Measurement Inactive - Service Interval Changed".
I've tried resetting the oil change via the ODO menu. No luck. Do I need ISTA software to reset the oil level sensor? Should I just put the old one back on? |

A new sensor shouldn't need to be coded. Do you have any diagnostic software? You may need to clear any codes or just drive it for a while to see if it resets itself.
