Latest software?

Folks -

My X5M is currently using the software versions for multimedia and telephone as shown in the attached picture. Anyone know if there are the more up to date versions?

Also is there a way to update the iDrive software? I didn't see a version number for iDrive.

I went to bmwusa.com/update and the site no longer provides software for my model year.

You need to find UPD01008 (tx-003.005.008 mx-003-005-004) as per

I was able to update the TX to the latest (003.005.008) using the updated .bin file on a USB stick in the center console but couldn't figure out how to update the MX. Any tips?

Normally, it should just update with bin also. The other way is with someone who knows how to update the iLevel or with the dealer.

For me BT calls kept dropping make/receive on my iphone 12. Post update calls are now stable.

I followed all the steps shown at https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1824680 and it works perfectly.

Just a couple of remarks:

- FAT 32 format for USB drive. It does not work for NTFS format.
- It just worked by using the USB slot placed between both front seats (armrest), not the one placed inside the glove box.

I used the file called "UPD01008.bin" with last software version available.

Now Spotify songs are recognised by BMW's Bluetooth system and therefore now both song title and artist appear, whilst up to now the only information show at BMW's screen was "Various Artists - Various Songs".
