So many folks looking for stock down pipes. Did you replace them? Did the stocks fail? Just curious and trying to figure out why so many folks are in need of stock down pipes.

They go for a lot more than $1,200. I was in a similar situation earlier this year and the ones that I did find, their asking price started from $1,800.

I always wonder why people don't keep them - at least in Cali they now check for tunes on the ECU during smog testing, and will fail you if you have a non-official SW on it - so can't have a tune that would otherwise delete the CEL.
Maybe that's the secret master plan here - buy them cheap now, and sell them for gold in the future when other states adopt aggressive smog checks. |
