And i don't know if this is normal, but my dealer said they have another one same way. As you can see from the pic below, one side has cover one side does not. Can someone conform on their X6?

VERY cool! Did not know this edition existed (I'm guessing Canada only?). Would love to see more pictures of the interior.

On my 50i, both of the front corners are open. I'm thinking you need to find another 35i (2008-2010) to confirm if yours is normal. On that note, I would get these and the blacked out grill - it would make the front of your X6 match the rest and look even meaner

edit - looks like the light is in a new position for 2013 - but I wonder if you can just move it? Probably need new grills too?

Talking More Pics

Thanks doug_999, i think it is north America edition only. I was thinking of painting the grille chrome and fog light surroundings to match the car.
Enjoy

1. Those were the list prices - he did not pay that, bought used.
2. Only 40 made!
3. That interior trim is $1K on the M5
4. Canada pays more - even when their dollar is stronger (which it wasn't in 2010 I believe)

Does anyone know how to keep air conditioner/heat off? Every time i start the vehicle, the heat/air starts to blow, kinda annoying to turn it off every time. Also one time i noticed the doors locked automatically after i walked away from the vehicle, but it doesn't do it anymore, and i can't find it in the manual. Can some one shed a light on this? Thanks.

I really like your Black Edition especially 20" black rims.

Interesting, I don't remember which side but one of the front corner is open on X5 35d.

Your X6 is not Disel. Maybe because of power bump? +22hp and +32 lb-ft of torque. It needs extra cooler?

Mine has M Performance Pkg +15hp and +30 lb-ft of torque but both are closed.

Hummm thanks for the input. And do you know anything about the heat/cool off every time car is started?

Nice! Enjoy the new ride. The HVAC coming on when starting is normal for the X6. There may be someone who can code it to stop...would do some searching on it.

In the 7-series, the car remembers settings and will restart each time at those settings. You can change the settings yourself on that car by going into the CLIMATE section of the iDrive interface & changing the FAN settings from HIGH to medium or low. Have you read your manual FULLY to see how to make the changes? Have you called a BMW service center and asked them if it's something that can be changed by a driver?

I have in fact read the manual 2-3 times especially for climate control. There is no indication on how to turn it off. I didn't know i could call BMW and ask them. Thanks for the tip. I'll do it on monday.
