Just a q:

I can see that you had originally the aluminium running board installed..which was removed i think after you installed the side skirt..

Is it a must that it has to be removed in order to install the side skirts ? Or is it that you just removed it because it looks bad?

The reason I am asking because I am planning to go for the same kit..and I have the aluminium running board on my car...please advice...

Yes aluminum running boards must be removed when adding side skirts

btw..Have you done the engine performance tunning ? Was it really worth it ? Mine is 3.0..which means only 20hp extra ! Is it worth it ?

yes I did the Dinan tune. on my 50i it was very noticeable. bumped up HP by +95. and even more torque. check out the Dinan tune instead of the BMW.

Hey Ramirez, I am in Queens as well and I was wondering if it would be possible for me to get some of the mods you did. I have done a few cosmetic mods to my X6 35i and I did a flash tune on the ECU, but Im VERY interested in having the upgrades like you did regarding the rear lift gate and roll back the mirrors operated by the key FOB.

Any info you can give me that can help me get those mod done to my car would be highly appreciated. Click on my avatar icon and check out my pics. You X6 looks great so I would like for you to check mine out and tell me what you think. Stay safe on the roads.
