I looked all over and can't find the original inspection report, only that it stated that the heated O2 and catalytic converter monitors were both "not ready", meaning that when they tried to read them they either showed not enough data or not initialized.

I guess after an ECU program, the monitor history gets erased.

No problem Andrew. Give us a call at 7864016520 next week and will see if we can sort this out.

Carlos/Velos, please share a stock and a stage 1 Velos tune dyno graph to see how it changes the power delivery?

Also do you have an AFR ratio of your stage 1 tune for an E70 X5M without any other mods?

Thanks

Yeah that's why i am close to going with Dinan. I am sure I will be slower but then that's not what i am after. At least it would help with the low end torque/drive ability

Have you tried reaching out directly to Carlos or Omar to see what the can provide for AFR's? My guess is they aren't checking posts on the forum regularly except updating their sale posts.

I'm not sure if my Bimmergeeks ProTool will log AFR but I know it has a lot of parameters. I'm on the stage 2 and can do some pulls and log them to see what I get - if AFR is a parameter. Just need to wait for it to stop raining here in Portland...maybe this weekend after I clean her up.

Curious if there is an updated Velos tune since last year? Also, anyone get them to program out the cold start? My neighbors are about to go Schiff on me.

If you do find out there's an update be sure to let us know. Not to say I don't love the tune as is - pulls pretty hard on the ~19psi up from the stock ~15-16psi.

I think if you reach out to Velos they can send you an updated file with the cold start removed. If BM3 can do it on an iPhone app with a 3 min flash no reason why Omar@VelosDesignwerks or one of the other guys couldn't help out that that.

I'll tell you what their AFRs are cause I have the tune and it's leaner than what i would like.

I've asked multiple questions to Velos who argues back saying the turn is safe. I just gave up on them, I don't think they have the ability to adjust the tune file to the AFRs you want, and that's why I got a bunch of rebuttles and no answers.

Hello,

My apologies and not sure how I missed this, maybe after they transferred the user name. I am available by phone and can assist. Like many have mentioned adjusting the a/f is not a problem and can be done assuming there is a dyno chart or other data than what we have accrued on our end or through dealers. The E70 platform has been around for as long as we have and with a few hundred under out belt we area confident that the tuning is more on the conservative side. Give me a ring when you can 7864016520 to make sure all is well with you and your M. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Not sure regarding details, variables, etc but seems off for an E70 platform. All good thought we are here during the week and I am available to assist. Big difference one personal preference opposed to where our targets may be. Shorter hours for the Holidays but look forward to talking to you. 7864016520

PM Sent to you as well.

Best Regards.

Carlos, I've had a TTFS tune for a while and honestly it doesn't pull like it should. I've already invested a lot, if you can work with me, it appears you have many happy customers. Thanks

My TTFS tune is catless and shows ready, no issues at all. I am. Just not getting performance I expect out of the truck.

I did the same thing. Ended up going Dinan because 2k for another 30-40HP from the other guys mathematically doesn't make sense. Remember we're adding power to a 5400 vehicle. It's not going to be the same as a 135i.

Hey Q -

Did you go with Dinan ?

Not necessarily after the most power at this moment just more low end torque!
